Helping You Get Through

Have you been feeling irritability, having trouble falling asleep or staying asleep, nightmares, difficulty concentrating, avoiding people, even friends and family, feeling scared, unable to trust others, constantly on guard, feeling keyed up or on edge, feeling numb, having trouble feeling positive feelings such as happiness, feeling like the person you were before is out of reach. Are your children having angry outbursts, being increasingly irritability, having trouble sleeping, headaches, stomach aches, worry, sadness, low self esteem. Have you or your children experienced sexual assault, experienced or witness domestic violence, been in an accident, been deployed to a combat zone?

A New Beginning

Imagine feeling happy, and able to enjoy the things you use to. Imagine not thinking about the traumatic events that have happened to you on a daily basis. Imagine sleeping better, having a decrease in flashbacks. Imagine your children being happy and worry free. Sleeping better at night and doing better in school.

I have experience working with children and families, including children in the foster care system. I have specialized training in trauma, including trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy and sexual assault.
